TomTom readies new models
TomTom is reportedly readying a range of new products to launch at the IFA show in Berlin this week.
Top of the rumour list is the TomTom GO920 - the successor to the GO720 - which was referenced liberally in its predecessor's software. Other potential announcements include enhancements to TomTom's predictive traffic system and the roll out of local fuel price information.
Already confirmed though is the TomTom ONE 3rd edition in the UK. The 3rd edition brings enhancements in route recalculation and driver route overrides. More interestingly it includes TomTom's new MapShare technology which lets users share improvements, daily, automatically and easily by hooking their unit up to their PC and using TomTom HOME.
The New TomTom ONE 3rd Edition is available now. Pricing will be £149 for the Regional version and £179 for the European version.
